MVRF is Proud to Co-Sponsor the Second Annual Emerging Vision Scientists Day on Capitol Hill

On September 14, 2016, we will be co-hosting a special Congressional Briefing entitled, Advances in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD) and Retinal Diseases presented by Amir H. Kashani, MD, PhD (USC Gayle and Edward Roski Eye Institute/Keck School of Medicine/University of Southern California).

MVRF is a strong voice for the more than 15 million Americans who currently suffer from AMD. That number is expected to grow to 20 million by the year 2020. This unique platform provides an opportunity to advocate for increased government funding for vision research and secure a long-lasting commitment to pursuing new treatments and a cure.
